Dana Gifford - Secretary

A Timber Ridge homeowner since 2009, Dana Gifford is an active and engaged member of the Kirkwood community. As a mother of three children involved in the Kirkwood Freeride and Jets programs, she and her family share a deep appreciation for the mountain environment and the strong sense of community that defines Kirkwood.

Originally from Connecticut, Dana learned to ski on the East Coast’s icy slopes. She attended Boston College and The College of William and Mary before starting her career in international healthcare. During this time, Dana traveled the world to understand how political systems, culture, and infrastructure influence the delivery of healthcare especially during times of disaster. During this time, she helped create public-private partnerships that enhanced the delivery of healthcare across remote regions. In 2004, she transitioned into market research, applying her analytical and interpersonal skills to help organizations better understand human needs and motivations and translate those insights into innovation, branding, and global marketing strategies. She established her own research consultancy firm in 2014, which continues to thrive today.

Through her work, Dana has developed a deep expertise in listening, engaging, and translating insights into meaningful action—skills she believes are critical to serving the KCA membership effectively. She is committed to fostering open communication, collaboration, and thoughtful planning to ensure that the association’s future reflects the diverse priorities and shared vision of its members.
